Shelving For Your Library

Believe it or not, there exists a manufacturer of shelving equipments and products for all your home library needs, or otherwise.

The company is called Library Shelving Display Division / 7 Mile Fish camp Enterprises. Their business goes way back during 1979 when a librarian from Florida sought out ways to make known and market all his collections of young adult and children's collections as well as increase its over-al circulation. A shelving style that is unique was created by Clem Malecki, the librarian from Florida, and it became successful enough that the library in his own branch began circulating more and more of the materials compared to its major library.

When Clem realized that he has been staying up late at night just to complete shelving products for other librarians, he then found it better to form his own company. Currently, the company is now a manufacturer and distributor of a line of patented modular, acrylic clear display of shelving for books, newspapers, periodicals, audio/video as well as other media.

Their products have been known to be beautiful, space-saving, durable and versatile. Shelving modules that come individually could be attached to the walls, columns, end panels. Meanwhile, four module shelving could be easily bolted all together in order to form kiosk displays or towers that are fre-standing.

Shelving modules for magazines and newspaper

This particular module come in a standard height of sixty six inches (these have ten compartments) and a fifty one inch module (these have eight compartments). Meanwhile, single shelving modules could be attached on walls, columns, end panels, etc.

Believe it or not, a kiosk / tower could be easily made via bolting together four modules.

Periodical or Magazine shelving module

This product usually come in a standard sixty eight inch height, however other heights could be custom made and may be available.

Basically, the standard dimensions of this shelving is 20.5 inches in width and a size of 12.5 inches in height, nine inches in width and diameter of 4.25 inches. This comes with modules that are bolted together, all four of them.

Hardback book shelving module

This module has a height of 68 inches or about 48 inches. The module that measures 68 inches in height has a total of 18 compartments for books (with each particular compartment having a measurement of 10.75 inches in height, 6.25 inches in width and 4.25 inches in diameter. This shelving module is able to house approximately seventy five books.

Paperback shelving modules

This particular shelving module has a height that measures anywhere from 72 inches, 66 inches or 48 inches in height. The module shelving with a measurement of 72 inches have 27 compartments (with every compartment measuring 7 inches in height, 4.5 inches in width and 4.25 inches in diameter).

Video/audio shelving modules

Modules for these type of media are also available in measurements that come in 66 inches as well as 48 inches. The unit measuring 66 inches has 21 compartments all in all (with each particular compartment measuring 9 inches in height, 5.25 inches in width and 4.25 inches in diameter).
