Believe it or not, there exists a manufacturer of shelving equipments and products for all your home library needs, or otherwise.
The company is called Library Shelving Display Division / 7 Mile Fish camp Enterprises. Their business goes way back during 1979 when a librarian from Florida sought out ways to make known and market all his collections of young adult and children's collections as well as increase its over-al circulation. A shelving style that is unique was created by Clem Malecki, the librarian from Florida, and it became successful enough that the library in his own branch began circulating more and more of the materials compared to its major library. When Clem realized that he has been staying up late at night just to complete shelving products for other librarians, he then found it better to form his own company. Meanwhile, four module shelving could be easily bolted all together in order to form kiosk displays or towers that are fre-standing. The following are a few of their shelving for home library for your review, Shelving modules for magazines and newspaper This particular module come in a standard height of sixty six inches (these have ten compartments) and a fifty one inch module (these have eight compartments). Meanwhile, single shelving modules could be attached on walls, columns, end panels, etc. Believe it or not, a kiosk / tower could be easily made via bolting together four modules. Video/audio shelving modules Modules for these type of media are also available in measurements that come in 66 inches as well as 48 inches.
